scandinavia is QUICKLY losing points....

OK. so i have quite the bone to pick with scandinavia right now. mainly iceland, with its dumb dumb volcano ruining all my friends travel plans, and subsequently making them very sad (luckily i am toooo lame to be going anywhere). i also have a fight to start with norway at the moment, but that is a WHOLE OTHER STORY. interestingly enough i am actually half scandinavian (1/4 icelandic, 1/4 norwegian, as it were...haha), and total sweden lover (thanks largely to my totally amazing swedish friend julia....), but seriously, get it together, or feel the wrath.....ok. so there probably wont be any wrath, not from me at least (seeing as i am more of a lover than a fighter...haha), but somebody might really get uber-annoyed.

on a sunnier note, literally, the weather here in paris as AT LAST reached the 'acceptable' level...and today, despite the 'massive ash cloud' that is apparently surrounding us, it reached a full-on 'fantastic' level. i plan on protesting the ash by remaining outside as much as possible and tanning through the pain.....hahahahah.

je suis celebataire....

ok. so that ^^^^ would mean 'i'm single' in french. this is as true for me in french as in english. however. i have, as of this moment....discovered how it is you become 'unsingle'....you play farkle on facebook.

yes, ladies (and gentlemen)....its as easy as that.

just in case, i will 'break it down...'

a. go on facebook.
b. play farkle.
c. get hit on via FARKLE CHAT by creeeeeeepers.(sexy, right???)

et, voila!!! single no more!!!

i know...sounds amazing right?
yeah. um, not so much. i didnt think so either. but apparently, to the creepers living in cyberspace....its a BRILLIANT plan.....

LOSERS.
thanks for the free entertainment. hahahahahaha.

fromage blanc

ok. so when i got here i thought i might actually die from lack of 'good food'. i know what youre thinking. um....arent you in france? isnt the food there supposed to be like, decent? yes, you would think. and, if you come her on VACATION, you will probably think so. but living here and not eating in fine french restaurants every meal is a bit different than a week at the ritz in paris. so i was losing my mind for about 4 months. no mexican food? is that a joke? but, as time has passed, not only do i find myself regularly forgetting that my french diet is anything out of the ordinary, but also unable to start myself crying over a total inability to find fajitas. so, that got me thinking. and i am now legitamately worried about finding my new found french favorites back in california. fromage blanc? chevre? endive salad in french mustard black pepper vinegarette?....a whole new set of complaints to keep me busy. hahaha.
